 | My favorite in all of Bach by Gary White on March 31st, 2009 |
| The Chaconne -- the last movement of this partita -- is arguably the most ambitious piece in all of classical guitar repertoire, which is how I came by it. Andres Segovia's transcription and recorded performance are pinnacles of achievement for the guitar. I'm now in the early stages of learning to play mandolin (which as you probably know, is tuned like violin, thus requiring no transcription). So when I found this on your website I had to have it. I'm looking at a year or two of work, in all probability, before I'll be able to play it fluidly. But what a wonderful challenge. | | | Challenging Piece by anonymous on April 17th, 2006 |
| This piece is very challenging but worthwhile, and develops many aspects of violin playing. | Add your own review!
