 | Truly Remarkable by Zachary DeBruine on July 14th, 2008 |
| The genius of Bach is demonstrated so clearly in this magnificent piece that one could never cease to be amazed. The prelude uses dramatic effects and amazing patterns to convey the thoughts of the master composer to the audience while the fugue displays Bach's skill at its best as it traverses the path of counterpoint without hesitation. I have always wanted the music for this piece, and after obtaining it, I could hardly believe what was coming out of the organ - the mastery of the world's greatest organist. I recommend this piece without hesitation to everyone. If you can, take the time to practice this piece until you have it nailed, it's a once-in-a-lifetime experience to play something like this! | | | The greatest by Edgar T. on July 10th, 2008 |
| It is the only organ tocatta I know, and I do not know if J.S. Bach composed more but it is magnificent. If people tell you that this song is scary, tell them it is not, it has a name and it is composed by a composer of the Barroque period. | | | One of the best pieces ever written... by Greg Z on June 11th, 2008 |
| I could have used some dynamic markings here and there but other than that it's a note for note transcription of the piece. It's a great skill building song because the toccatta section is easy-medium difficulty while the fugue is medium-high. I could play this 100 times in a row and not get sick of it. Anyone who plays keyboard should be familiar with this one. | | | Incredible! by anonymous on February 25th, 2007 |
