 | Fingerings would be helpful... by (MEMBER) on November 19th, 2008 |
| This is an excellent piece, but this sheet music doesn't include fingerings, which might make it harder for a lot of people. It's already a hard enough piece as it is! |

| That Piece is one of my favor piece from
Frederic Chopin. It is a difficult piece.
I Play the Piano and I Play only the second
part. I like Piano. Do you have a version
of that piece with the Chords. It Could be
easy to Play.

 | good piece of chopin by ryan (MEMBER) on February 8th, 2008 |
| I think this piece is good to learn because it kind of sound like beethoven's moonlight the third movment.I say this is a good piece to learn even if am learning ballade in g minor. Ballade in g minor is also a good piece to learn to. |

 | Not so High by H. Li on February 14th, 2007 |
| The Main point of this song it's the tempo difference between the two side; scale change and the trick ending etc.
There is only 1 or 2 part thats hard in this song. once you get uused to 4-3 beat (r-l)
It shouldn't be even close to Moonlight 3rd.

 | Not 5 stars for difficulty of piece by idic5 (MEMBER) on September 2nd, 2006 |
| BTW, to the person who first reviewed: 5 stars means overall best to worst not easy to hard. ;) |

 | 5 Star difficulty? by Scott Greig on June 20th, 2006 |
| This marvollous Impromptu - One of Chopin's Best Known works - isn't nearly as hard as other 5 Star - Rated difficult pieces. I can play the F.I, but I can't play Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto, which also has a five star difficulty!
Chopin actually disliked this piece, and instructed a student of his to dispose of it. He disliked it because he believed it plaguarised one of Beethoven's Motif's from his Moonlight Sonata, 3rd Movement. I think us pianists and listeners are gracoius that Fantaisie-Impromptu wasn't destroyed in the end!
The Hardest thing about learning this piece is to get the cross-rhythms spot on - this can be achieved by pratising the first and last note of every tripet with the left hand, and playing the right hand normally, Hands together.
It 'fits the hand' quite well so my advice is to go for it! You can learn this piece like I did, though it took me about 3 weeks hard practise to get it spot on!
Good Luck! |
