 | Not a performance part (MEMBER) on August 25th, 2008 |
| Although there were no mistakes in the music, the solo part is not useful for performance, as it takes up ten pages total, making it impossible to turn pages. I had to reduce and cut and paste the part to use it. It is possible to fit it onto five pages, which would be more convenient to performers. | | | Melancholy Summer by MelloMan489 on July 19th, 2007 |
| When I first heard this piece I thought, "Wow, guy must've had a rough summer!". But in all seriousness, it is a FANTASTIC piece of work. The first two movements aren't anything TOO splashy, but the the 3rd is WICKED. The 16th note runs and double-string work in the higher register DEMAND the best out of the performer. It's a shame that nowadays we don't have composers of Vivaldi's capability. | Add your own review!
