I LOVE playing flute...I'm 16 and have been playing since I was 11 or 12. It's a lot of fun, and it's great knowing that I have such a great talent.
Do you plan on majoring in music? Or have you thought about college yet? Do you do auditions for anything outside of school band? (assuming you are in a school band)
