Default Converting Horn part to piano (c)

I have been asked to do a "virtual duet" -on Mozart's Horn Concerto No 4 in Eb Major- the Rondo/Allegro section.

My partner has already created a wonderful orchestral backing on his Yamaha Tyros 4- and I am to play the melody plus whatever I wish to add.

Well, I'm a pianist- not a horn player - & it seems all music I've located thus far, has the melody written for horns only.

I could convert this to be able to play in the same key as the orchestral part - over time, but it would take me bunches of time I'd like not to have to do.

Do you have a program or another source that would allow me to do the conversion. I'm assuming that this is not an unusual situation..

Hope I'm making sense.
Judy

Hi Judy,

Thank you for your question. Yes we do have a program that should be able to convert the instrument or transpose. We have it available on MOST items. It is the Scorch plugin. If Scorch is not available for an item you are interested in then please send an email to support@virtualsheetmusic.com

and we will try to make the files available right away!
