Copyrighted outside US?
Hey there,
I subscribed to VSM to find that many sheets are copyrighted outside the USA (I am from Mexico). I am not planning on selling them or providing them to anyone else, I just want to study the sheet music. I tried downloading several (e.g. Rach's Prelude Op 3 No 2) but no link is provided.
Is it possible that I download them?

Dear biyectivo thank you for your post and welcome on the Virtual Sheet Music forums.
Yes, that's an important matter unfortunately we are not yet able to solve. Some composition is in the public domain in the US but not in the rest of the world, so we can make it available for US users only. No matter the use you will do of it, we cannot distribute a copyrighted composition where it is so considered.
We are aware of this limitation, but at the moment we cannot solve it in a different way. We are doing our best to implement a policy that allows us to pay royalties on those copyrighted pieces allowing both Members and normal users to pay for those copyrighted pieces only. We hope to be able to do it within the next 2 years.
For more information on copyrights, please read our copyrights policy.
If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
Sincerely,

In US...
I am in the United States, but at times, the site thinks that I am outside of the U.S. Why is this? Any advice would help.

Well,I am really astonished :I become a member paying a fee and lo and behold I can't download all the sheetmusic that has copyright on it OUTSIDE America
So whats the use of this Virtual Sheet Music if you happen to live in another country
Why not give a fair warning to people with another nationality

Hello Imre.
Well, as I told you via email, our copyright policy must be accepted when you join as a Member, I am sorry if you didn't notice what was written there, but all that is clearly stated there.
Also, only a few titles are copyright protected outside USA and Australia. We have over 1,500 titles on Virtual Sheet Music, only less of 10 are copyright protected outside USA or Australia: Virtual Sheet Music can still offer you a lot of music if you live outside USA and Australia!
Finally, we clearly state that limitation on those particular items. For example, give a look at the Rachmaninoff's Prelude in C sharp minor, it is clearly stated that is copyright protected outside USA and Australia:

We are very sorry, but Virtual Sheet Music wants to offer unlimited downloads legally.
If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to contact me again.
Thank you again.

Copyrighted outsid
I have been listening to the sports guys on the fan 950 in the morning. I also listen to sports radio in the evening. It seems that they are very high on Tim Crowder. It even seems that they dont think much of Jarvis Moss. While I dont get the same feeling on the boards. I tend to put more stock in the boards because those that are reporting are just fans. While sports talk radio have an agenda.
Anyway what are you guys hearing about the team outside of the boards?
