I would like to see Robert Schuman's music for Violin and strings written for Viola and String Orchestra. I heard in on the Radio the other day, and this would be a great piece for me to audition with. And play with the Orchestra here in Edmonton Alberta. This is the only piece that Schuman wrote for a stringed instrument. V.S.M. has to add this to the list of Viola Music. I'm quite sure any Viola player would like to get their hands on this. This is a classic along with Beethoven's Kreutzer Sonata.

Of course, we can consider that. Do you remember the title of that Schumann composition? There are more than one composition for violin.

Yes, It's called Fantasy in C written for Violin & Orchestra Opus 131. This is a rare work by Schumann. I'm sure many Violists would like to get their hands on this piece. Just like Beethoven's Kreutzer Sonata.
