Piano accompaniment for clarinet+piano Canon
Hi,
I am a new member, and I love the Canon arrangement for clarinet Bb and piano. The thing is I am not able to find a piano partner equally skilled to do the piano section of the piece, and I really love it and want to perform it in our town's Christmas concert. I like the piano part of the midi, and wonder if anyone knows how to rip the clarinet from the file, so that I have the midi with just the piano on it. I can then burn it on a CD and play along.
All the best!
Regards,
Yang

Dear Yang,
thank you for your kind post, we are so happy to know you like that arrangement and are going to perform it! That's a great news for us.
Of course, you can already do so. Just install one good MIDI player as the ones suggested here below:
http://www.virtualsheetmusic.com/downloads/MIDI.html
most part of them (with exception of Windows Media Player and Quicktime) allow you to mute tracks. In you case you'll be able to mute the clarinet part in order to record the piano part as you wish.
Please, let me know if you need any further help.
Thank you again!
Sincerely,

Hi, Fabrizio!
Thanks for your prompt reply.
I managed to mute the clarinet part of the midi and saved the piano portion as a new midi. But now I can't seem to be able to burn the midi to a CD. How do you do that?
Thanks again!
Yang

Hi Yang.
Well, now you need a MIDI to Mp3 Converter. You can find a lot of them on downloads.com for free. Just start from there and look for "MIDI to mp3 converter".
Once you have the mp3 files, you can easily burn them on CD with any CD burning software.
Let me know if you need any further help.
Best,
