Default Marimba

hey anyone interested in learning/teaching marimba, post here about what you want to learn/what you know

ok first of all, the marimba is, in lame terms, an oversized piano you hit with "sticks"

these "sticks" are referred to as mallets, usually have a ball yarn/cord at the end, and are used to hit the keys of the marimba. the keys are exactly like those of a piano, but on a bigger scale

check out www.tapspace.com for some other references too, awesome site, the best in fact
