Default The Tuba!
I don't play the Tuba, but I like the instrument. I think it sounds really good when a Maching Band has a lot of them. The just sound really good.

Yup, they do sound pretty good. and they're very versatile instruments too. They're great as jazz instruments. Did you know that there are six kinds of tuba ?

The tuba is the largest and lowest pitched brass instrument. Sound is produced by vibrating or "buzzing" the lips into a large cupped mouthpiece. It is one of the most recent additions to the modern symphony orchestra, first appearing in the mid-19th century, when it largely replaced the ophicleide. Tuba is Latin for trumpet or horn. The horn referred to would most likely resemble what is known as a baroque trumpet.

The Tuba is the largest and lowest pitched brass instrument. Sound is come to vibrating or buzzing the lips into a large cupped mouthpiece. It is modern symphony orchestra. Tubas are found in various pitches most common in F, E-flat and C. The main Tuba of a B-Flat is approximately 18 feet long.

Tuba is Latin for trumpet or cornet. The horn that is likely to resemble what is known as a Baroque trumpet.
