Beethoven and Mandolin
Here in West Virginia in the US, the mandolin is extremely popular, but as a folk and bluegrass instrument. As a mandolin player and a lover of classical music, it's kind of a dream of mine to introduce the instrument's true status in the world of music. If Beethoven, Mozart, and Hummel thought it a worthy instrument for composition, it should be recognized as such. I've been playing in church as often as possible...lots of Bach and sacred Renaissance pieces. Classical mandolinists of the world, unite!
PS - I truly appreciate Fabrizio's work in getting these put together!
