Improvisation books?
I need help. I can't improvise at all and I've played piano for going on 5 yrs. I only had lessons for about 8 months, self-taught the rest, but I'll most likely be taking over the piano at church soon. I already fill in for our pianist quite a bit and my piano playing sounds terrible compared to hers! I've been to our music store several times trying to find something I can use to teach myself to improvise but I can't find anything. I don't know what I'm looking for.
Does anyone have any suggestions of books I can look for? Any help would be so nice!! Thanks!
