Shostakovich
I just realized you have no Shostakovich pieces on this site...I highly suggest Symphonies 10, 11, and 12, and Galop by Shostakovich. They're awesome pieces.

I like Shostakovich and the pieces you suggested are wonderful! (except for the 11th symphony which I haven't ever listened to) But unfortunately I am afraid that his works are all copyrighted...

Its really too bad all of what he had to endure, all of the censorship and living under a dictator like Stalin I never want to experience that...

Yeah he was...although that was a really time for him to be composing...and to think, I thought I was the only person that studied composers...Heh, I have this huge encyclopedia of the big composers...

I think it is like a great composers' "curse". Mozart, Bach, Beethoven, Vivaldi, Strauss, Tchaikovsky and so many others... Such tragedy in each one's biography... In contrast with Shostakovich, I think most of them had a more miserable life

Loren,
I love Shostakovich and we'd like to publish his works, but unfortunately he's still copyrighted. We look forward to be able to publish his extraordinary compositions!
Thank you for your understanding.
All the best,
