Love the overture

No offense, but the sonata doesn't follow the really strict sonata form

There are three parts, an exposition, a developent, and recapitulation

The exposition has an opening, dramatic theme. Then there is a lyrical theme for the second part of the exposition. The exposition is then repeated. The development has the two themes, as the name implies, it develops the themes. The Recapitulation, is basically a repeat of the exposition in a tonic key signiture, rather than the dominant key signature for the beginning of the exposition. There is no form for the other movements.
So most musicians call it the first-movement sonata form of the allegro form.

Oh! That's interesting...are there any really good theory sites that go into detail about all the music forms? I haven't found anything worth going to yet...
