bells, xylophone, Marimba's, sleigh bells,vibes composers?
Which Composers used bells, xylophone, Marimba's, sleigh bells,vibes?
Which Composers used alot of percussion instruments besides cymbals,bass drum,snare? like wood blocks, temple blocks, wind chimes etc.
I heard Mozart, Beethoven, Haydn, Chopin, Handel,Bach, brahms
symphonies and quartets and never heard of bells, xylophone, Marimba's, sleigh bells,wood blocks, temple blocks, wind chimes
Which composers did use them ? can you please list them

Modern composers such as Strawinsky, Shostakovich and many other XX century composers used percussions extensively. Edgard Varese was a composer who used percussions only in many of his compositions.

I went on the Naxos classical music and could not find Shostakovich?
And only One piece for 13 percussion composed by Edgard Varese thats it by him i think

i found Shostakovich im going to listen to his symphonies to see if i hear any tuned percussion
