Exclamation 2 Questions

Can someone please help me? I have two questions: 1)I have some sheet music that has 2 treble cleffs and 1 bass cleff. How do i play the treble? Play both lines at the same time or what? and 2) The pianist at my church adds all kinds of fancy stuff when she plays the piano. How do i do that?
Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!!!

Default 2 treble staffs

I saw a piece by Grieg which had 2 treble staffs. The upper staff was meant for the choir(or a person singing) and the other for the piano.

Regards

Is it a piano solo piece? Do there are three staves? Please, let me know...

Best,

Yes it's a solo piece, i dont have one in mind but i've seen several that are like that. If the staves are the lines with music then yes, there are three staves. Sorry, i taught myself to play and i've only been playing for almost 3 years. I'm kinda stupid when it comes to piano terminology.

Well, usually only modern composers such as Ravel, Debussy, Rachmaninoff or similar write in a such way, and yes, you should play them by distributing the notes between the two hands (probably there are so many notes cannot be written on only two staves or the piece is written in a modern way to highlight different melodies on different staves).

Please, let me know if this may help.

Best,
