Default Fur Elise
Hey yall, i printed off Fur Elise (from some free sheet music site) and started playing it a couple days ago. My problem is that i have to play it several times with each hand separately then i can play it together but i can't read the music and play it at the same time. It's really confusing!!!!

Yes, I play piano. Although I haven't been able to sit and play much lately. Seems like my 2 and 5 yr old brothers are always getting into trouble.

Yes and i wouldn't trade them for anything. Yesterday the 2 yr old was sick and he was so cuddly! All day all he wanted to do was sit in my lap. I loved it! Sunday my 5 yr old bro was sick then yesterday the 2 yr old and one of my other brothers was sick and today my sis is. Looks like everybody will get it! How fun. lol.
Anywho, the piano thing isn't really hard it's just frustrating. I almost have the first page memorized i just can't move past that page!

Hey, I'm Sylvia. I play piano sice I was 6, and Fur Elise was my first serious piece I played at 9. Anyways, it will come out right. If you have a recording, try to listen it frequently, so that it gets into your head, and after, without thinking too much about it, try playing it. It's not so hard, it's just tidious at the beginning. Fur Elise is a wonderful (but overplayed) piece. Good Luck!

Ha! I gave that piece up a couple days after starting it! I can play it (kinda) but it drives me and my family CRAZY!! I think after I learn my flute a little better I'll try it in flute.

Fur Elise is one of the most annoyingly overplayed pieces in the whole world, I've got nothing against the piece or anyone that plays it, but it is played far too often and very rarely is the whole piece played.
