Post Life of common mortals

I couldn't imagine my life without the musical part. After all, could any musican? When I'm crestfallen or simply sad I play or listen to good music, and all my problems slowly dissolve. What about the other non-musicians? Do they know they are missing a great part of life? Obviously as "musician" I don't only mean who plays an instrument but also who is really into music. Yes, maybe some of them are really into sports, but what if they don't have a gym on the spot?
Musicality give determined characteristics to a person, grace, open mindness and some noble movements. It's the greatness of music, it's the magic of music.

I've tried to envision myself without music, but it's simply impossible. Even before band, i was a musician. heck, before chorus (from 2nd to 6th grade) I was a singer. It's actually quite frightening, imagining yourself without music. Is it possible for even nonmusicians to live without music? I mean, doesn't EVERYONE at least listen to the radio?

You made an excellent point there...it's a good way to get people thinking.

Exactly, but I have some friends that think music is a waste of time...(they say that it takes a lot of time and gives you nothing in return). After a while I stopped hanging out with them, because they were too self centered and because MUSIC GIVES A LOT!!!

Music gives nothing in return, eh? Sorry Sylvia's old friends, but I can't agree. I wouldn't be who I am today without music! If I had a sound proof room where I could play my piano all day I would. Unfortunately, I have lots of siblings who get very annoyed when I play a lot so if I'm not playing I usually have some kind of music on. I LOVE music!!!

Younger siblings? Me TOO!!! Every one gets pissed off when I play the piano. My mother isn't really into music, (my father is the only one pleased to listen me play but he's never home...) my older brother tells me to shut up and the little one as well, ("I can't hear the tv"). Furthermore I live in a company of old people that love complaining. They knock on the door at 5 PM to "kindly ask" me to play later becuase they were trying to take a nap. That's crazy! My mother says they do it because they are envious, since they all tried to get their children into music but it eventually turns up in failure. I agree with my mom.
For this reason I bought an electric keyboard at my own expenses. But I get frustrated when I see my piano...is it only furniture now?
"Common mortals " are envious of good musicians.
