Default The Mysterious Concerto

I'm not sure about the work's composer, but it sounds very much like a slow movement of one of Mozart's violin concertos, but I don't know which one. If it is not by Mozart, then it could be by any of his contemporary musicians ; the classical (or maybe preclassical) style of composing is very caracteristic. That's about all I can tell you about this piece.

I am sorry, I missed this posting earlier!

That's the Adagio from the Viotti violin concerto No. 22, we have it published on October 2005:

My apologizes again for the delay in responding!

Default Viotti

íIt was by Viotti, then! I don't know Viotti very well ; I've only heard one or two of his concertos, and that was some years ago. But I was right about the period in which this delicious music was composed, and identified it's style perfectly, didn't I? By the way, you were not late with your answer ; I posted my comment just last night. Thank you very much. Regards. Juan

Never mind, Fabrizio. It's a real pleasure arguing about music with you. Ask me anything you like. By the way, if you understand some Spanish, perhaps you'd like to take a look at my music blog. Here is the URL for all my 6 blogs ; they are interconnected: www.jpuelopez.blogspot.com
Regards. Juan

Thank you Juan. Your blogs look terrific! Unfortunately I am unable to understand completely Spanish, but as an Italian myself I can have an idea of your writing and contents.

Thank you again and good luck with your endeavors.

Sincerely,

Default Blog

Fabrizio, thanks for trying to read my blog, although you don't know any Spanish. I don't know much Italian myself either, but I understand nearly everything I read in your language, and I have watched Italian films with no subtitles without any problem. I participated once in a conversation with Italian and Portuguese people, and each one of us spoke his own language, and if anything someone was saying wasn't understood by anyone, it was repeated in French, and everyone was happy. I just thought it would happen the same to you. Regards.
By the way, you may show my blogs to other people, if you wish to.

Juan, I see what you mean... I found myself in a similar situation more than one time!

Of course I will keep that in mind.

All the best,
