Print whole collection for one song? Really?

Hi - I'm a VSM subscriber and want to transpose Jesu, Joy for string quartet (in the Christmas Collection) with the Scorch feature so we can use it to accompany a singer. This is no problem, but when I go to print it seems I have to print off the whole collection which I don't need (probably will never need in the transposed key). By the time I print off the separate parts and score I'm going to end up with ~50 extra pages of printed material I'll never need.

Is there a workaround?

Thank you for your message. At this time that is the only way you can transpose and print. You can possibly try to select a range of pages you wish to print in order to lesson the paper and ink used.

Hi Julie - I tried that, but with the Scorch plugin it doesn't allow you to set page ranges. That option is grayed out. Each book of the quartet is 21 pages, and Jesu is 2 pages, plus the vocal book is 32 pages and Jesu is 6.

(4x19) + 26 = 102 extra (wasted) pages to get Jesu in the new key... I'm really not sure if my printer will finish before Earth Day. Maybe if you are in touch with the Scorch people you can let them know about this scenario.

Yes you are correct. We have contacted Sibelius to troubleshoot a way around this.
