Learning Flute
Ok, I got a new flute book that came with a DVD and CD. I'm trying to learn it now. Is it supposed to be really hard to go from F to Eb smoothly? I'm having a really hard time with that!

Another problem I'm having is that when I play F, Eb, and D it sounds really squeeky and I can barely hear the note. Then when I go to Bb and C it sounds just fine. Is this normal???

Hey, I'm the only one replying on my thread!
Um, when you play F and Eb you're supposed to hold down the key with you right pinkie, right?

Ha Ha very funny! I don't die my hair and I really don't see how that would help me. Although, I could just be having another blonde moment.....

Ok, can you or can you not help me? I really need some help here! Maybe trying to teach myself to play flute isn't a very good idea.

I don't play the flute but I do know some people who do.
I emailed your questions to them.
Hang tight

Can ANYBODY tell me how to make Eb and F come out clearer? They sound really bad, like you can barely hear it when I play. I can't figure out how to make it sound better!! I'm really getting frustrated here! I'm about ready to give this whole flute thing up!!!!
