What recording do you have? I have the Telarc one with Andre Previn and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (1990 I think).

Mine is a 1959 recording on a CD. |

So, is it just me or does it sound like John Williams modeled some of the Star Wars IV (1977) music after Mars? There are passages that sound so similar to me. I always wondered if Lucas played Holst to Williams and said "I want something like that."

I just looked at the Rareviolins.com.
Only one viola "Antonius and Hieronymus Amati 1620"
Probably costs more than my house.
