Finding a flute teacher
I just got back from the music store here. The lady gave me the names and numbers of several flute teachers here in town. I was wondering what kind of questions I need to ask them to determine whether they're "good" or not. I've never looked for any kind of teacher before so I don't know what I need to look for. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

There's a pretty good list of questions to ask here:

I can't think of anything beyond that.

Yes, very...
Also, always ask if the teacher can play multi-phonics. No joke.

Has anyone ever used or heard of Essential Elements 2000? That's what I'm using now and it's pretty good. I don't know much though.

Smiley, didn't I tell you that Accent On Acheivment is the best.
Multi-phonics are like double-stops on a violin.
