The lake I live on is full of motor boats too and I cannot stand them!
Even so, there are several sunfishes and even a boat with a cabin!

How old were you when you first went sailing? My son is 4, and I was wondering how long to wait until he might be ready to go. I was thinking 6 or so. Of course, I guess it depends on what kind of boat you're in (ie, how likely it is to capsize) and how good the sailor is.

Yeah, unmuffled boat noise is annoying. There are some people on Lake Travis that have those big 'racing' boats that are extremely loud. I always wonder what the point is, since the lake is pretty small.

Smile sailing

I was 8 or 9. I think if you put him in a sailing school when he's older then he can sail the tiny dinghies and be in almost no danger at all.

I play flute and piano. I just started teaching myself to play flute last week so I'm not really good yet. Aparently I lots my crown somehow so i think I'm going to try to find another one before I play anymore. If you have any tips on playing flute I really apreciate it!

What are your plans now that you've graduated?

You're gonna think I'm crazy for saying this, but my plan is to prepare myself to be the best wife/mother I can be and wait till God brings Buddy (that's what I call my future husband when I pray for him) to me.
