This prolific American composer was practically a legend in his own lifetime. He wrote many galops and marches, and was one of the first composers to write music for school bands. Although he was originally from Ohio, he is most closely associated with Fort Dodge, Iowa.
I don't know if this composer has been used but here it goes.
I was born in Russia and at a young age when to a conservitore in St. Petersberg (forgive the spelling error if I spelled it wrong. Wrote numerous ballets and operas, two very well know today. Wrote one of my favorite orchestral works: Marche Slav.
