Why a transcription? Isn't the original good enough?

Now you are confusing me too. I thought transcription meant an arrangement of the original piece, in the original key, etc. Did I ask for something else? |

A transcription is usually a piece transcribed for dif. inst.
An arr. is reworking to harmonies in a piece.
