Now, what I would prefer is a sermon that takes a passage or verse and have a sermon about it.

But you're supposed to do that! Having Scripture to support his points lets you know that his sermon is based on Scripture and not just his own opinion. Why don't you like that?

I just get sick of it.
It's kind of like "Christianity for Beginners".
Wouldn't you rather have a sermon series based on the book of Daniel?

I get what you're saying, but I do think that Mr. Preacher should have Scripture to support what he's saying. I've heard lots of sermons on the book of Daniel. Personally, I prefer Psalms, 1&2 Tim and Titus. Oh, and Prov 31!

I'm sorry. You should hear my older brother preach!! He'll have you crying before he's 15 minutes into his sermon!!!!!! He's so passionate about winning souls to Christ and he's an awesome preacher! Although, it does get annoying when he's home from college and all he ever does is preach to us 24/7. God's really gonna use him, i'm so proud of my bro!!!
Sorry, that was so way off topic.
