I looked at the clarinet. I wouldn't buy something that doesn't even have a brand name. Stuff like that is "one time use." No joke. How serious are you about playing the clarinet?

One thing about the Bb Clarinet. If you plan on playing from a hymnal you will have to mentally transpose (as with the Bb trumpet).

I don't know, Y. I think I'm really serious about it, but I don't know. Like I was very serious about wanting to play flute but now that I lost my crown and can't find another one, that's kind of died.

I wouldn't go as far using the "D" word. Not every musician is aware of the different transpositions for various instruments.
To the best of my knowledge she plays piano and has been attempting to learn flute. Neither of which require transposition because they "C" instruments.
