Remember the old saying, "When you buy quality you only cry once". If you're serious about clarinet, then spending a couple of extra hundred dollars will probably make a big difference in the quality of the instrument that you get.

Yeah. The only problem is that I don't have a couple hundred bucks, let alone a hundred to get me started!
