celebrating mozart's birthday
Hi, I'm desperately seeking a piece for cello and piano by Mozart to perform at our local music festival. Something that could be ready for April. I'm sure there must be some sonata out there that's showy enough and can be up to snuff by April. Any suggestions are welcome. Thank you, jen

Hello Tooney and thank you for your post.
A piece may interest you could be our transcription of the "Rondo' alla Turca" by Mozart for cello and piano.
I don't think there are original cello sonatas by Mozart, but if you have in mind any specific title we could consider to publish it.
Thank you again.
Sincerely,

thank Fabrizo
Thanks Fabrizo for that suggestion - I did check that piece out but it didn't seem interesting enough for the piano. What I'll do is look around for a piece and if I find one I'll see if Virtual Sheet Music can get it. Thanks again...jen

still seeking a piece
Wow, I'm really impressed with this site No, I still haven't found anything really interesting...I've started practicing the one piece that I got from Virtual but we're trying to find something different. Do you have any ideas? I'll be taking a trip into the city (I live on the moon...practially) this week and it would be nice if I could look or find something.
Desperately seeking a Mozart piece,
jen

what about doing a pair of Mozart arias from The Magic Flute: In diesen heiligen Hallen, and/or O Isis und Osiris . Terrifically simple to play, but oh so elegant, and a chance to show off rich tone!
They're bass arias, so you might be able to play directly off the sheet music from the store, or perhaps you could whisper in Fabrizio's ear.....
If you wanted something flashier, perhaps Exsultate Jubilate, which would definitely be available commercially, although for soprano voice.

Hello here.
Would you like to have those arias transcribed for tuba? Please, tell me more...
Thank you.
Sincerely,
