Hehe, you've been playing all my life. I'm thirteen. 
I've been playing, depending on how you measure as I've played off and on, anywhere from a year to two months. I've been messing with violin for about a year, but I've only been taking it seriously these past few months. But I like to delude myself to think I'm a quick learner.
Also, I found Eine Kleine Nachtmusik for wind quintet and I thought it sounded nice... kinda long at 9 minutes for the first movement though.

lol, okay. You sound a little cheery... lol. JK. Been around some unhappy people today. (They've been sleeping in uncomfortable quarters-AKA the Band Room floor-for 3 weeks, deprived of sleep, and had to march out in 95 degree weather, so they have room to be unhappy). It's nice to hear some happy people now... lol.

He's 19 in November. Got two other other brothers besides him as well. I'm the baby of the family.

I'm the middle brother of the family .
I think a wind quintet is a cool idea, then we would have five parts for five people . There might be a bit transposition needed to adapt the wind parts for strings though, but maybe not much worse than adapting strings for wind.
There are some pretty cool sounding pieces on this site if we can manage to find one everybody has access to. |
