YKB's Home Recordings - Calling all Critics!!!
I have been finally been able to record myself playing that guitar. I use Sound Forge 7.0 and a cheap microphone to do the recordings. I want everyone's opinions about how I sound, techniques, etc. I will try to put other instruments on too.
This is a hymn called Abide With Me. The words are:
Abide with me! Fast falls the eventide. The darkness deepens; Lord with me abide!
When other helpers fail and comforts flee, Help of the helpless oh, abide with me.
I need Thy presence every passing hour. What but Thy grace can foil the tempter's power?
Who, like Thyself, my guide and stay can be? Thro' clouds and sunshine, oh, abide with me!

Very nice!
Surprising fidelity for a cheapo microphone.
My only criticism is that you slowed down in a few spots. Nothing a metronome couldn't fix.

Please notice that I didn't say that I could do better.
Keeping rythmn is what I have the most trouble with.
