However, congratulations for your posted hymnal chorus.
At first glance, there is an interesting interaction between the two hands starting at bar 3. The right hand is comparable to some of the Preludes in Bach's Book 48. In only 10 bars, I can't really have a full idea of your style, but it's definitely on the classical side. Do you have some others compositions I could listen to, or read, or play?
I probably would have chosen a more interesting key, Finale can transpose everything automatically if you want.
Anyhow, I think you're very precocious.
Bravo!
Sylvie.

OK, thanks! About the ten bars that "don't make sense" those show the limited amount of harmonizing/arranging skill I have.
(It's the YKB style...)
I would really like to learn someday...
Anyway, I must say that my favorite part is from bar #6 onward. It gives off a B8hoven-like flavor.
Also, I had to keep in mind the soprano's voice range which I don't know too well. Maybe I should have put it into the interesting key of Db....

Hey Y, I just noticed that you changed my words. Why? Did it not work the other way???

I added the word "how" because it was needed to fit into the meter...

You also said "I trust in you" instead of "I'm trusting you". It's ok, I was just wondering why you did it, no big deal.

Outstanding!
Of course Smiley, since he changed the words now you can tweak the melody.
It's only fair.

Hey!! You're back!
Yes, I could tweak the melody. I like my original one better,I wish I could figure out how to let him see it. The song fits my melody perfectly!

Maybe, if I wanted to and had time. Right now I'm very busy working on redoing our B&H site. And no, I don't know anyone with a MIDI setup.

What is your concept of how your song should be used?
Is it a worship chorus to be sung by a congregation?
Is it a solo accompanied by piano or guitar?

I don't really care. No, it's not a worship chorus. I don't like most of those. I wrote a song for my cousin Mollie ("Mollie's Song") and my grandpa put music to it (guitar). I recorded him singing and playing it on a tape and would love to let y'all hear it, but I can't figure out how to get it on the computer.
