Organ transcriptions for piano
Fabrizio, do you have any idea how an organ piece can be transcribed for piano? Bach's Toccata & Fugue is a wonderful work but no matter how much I tried, I didn't manage to transcribe it.. I see you also have no transcriptions of it in VSM list. Maybe transcribing it for two pianos will be easier, but it will be less fun to play as a duet..

Hi Miltiadis IV,
yes, we know. Actually we MUST add a transcription of the Bach's Toccata and Fugue as soon as possible. Obviously other organ pieces can be easily transcribed for piano solo.
Thank you again!
Sincerely,

Toccata and fugue in D minor
I originally tried to play on piano the organ part, and I was successful for the first 5 pages (until after the fugue), but then the hands overlapped, and it was impossible to play the organ transcription. I then bought the piano reduction, and it sounds quite as nice. Obviously, it doesn't have all the emotional potence an organ would have. Online, there were no good transcriptions, so I went to the actual shop. I suggest "J.S. Bach Toccata e Fuga in Re minore RICORDI" reduced by Pozzoli. Fabrizo, are you italian?
By the way, does this website give free sheet music?

T&F Reduction for piano
Hi mmaestro 007,
Were you asking for the exact name of the publication? Well, it's "J.S. Bach Toccata e Fuga in re minore - riduzione facilitata per pianoforte. Copyright 1972 by Carisch s.r.l. - Milano". (Italian versions are usually very fit, regarding classical music)
I've been looking for a good transcription since ages. And this is it because it mantains the "maestoso" of the original version for organ, without cutting pieces.
