Sweet music, but the Dvorak isn't all that easy  by (MEMBER) on September 16th, 2007
It's lovely music, and very well known, too. For the Dvorak Humoresque one wants to project an atmosphere of charm and ease and preserve that through the passages in thirds and sixths -- not all that easy. A musically sensitive beginner would be disappointed. The Mozart and Beethoven pieces are easier.

What is that tune????  by on February 5th, 2007
One night while watching TY, I heard the most beautiful violin solo...a slow beautiul ballad almost like a lullaby. But I could not think of the name of this familiar tune. Then I realized it was Humoresque by Dvorak but played verrrry slowly with much feeling instead of light and lively. Try it this way, you might like it. I love it both ways!!!!
