Not Shubert's Score  by on December 3rd, 2012
There have been changes made to the piano score of this piece that seasoned pianists will not like. It would be better if we were told this before we bought the music.

a Church staple  by on March 14th, 2010
I just sang this for Lentin services and the words don't really have anything to do with Lent. However, sense this is in Latin, one can sing this at any occasion and is super easy to whip back into shape once you've learned it. This piece really loses something when put in a fellowship hall or other contemporary settings, by the way.

Virtual Discrepancies  by on July 31st, 2008
I liked the ease of printing out the sheet music. However, when compared to an older copy of the same piece, Virtual Sheet Music's had some discrepancies in rhythms and melody line. It was my inclination to accept the older version as truer to the original and just figured Virtual's had strayed from that original composition. Though, without looking at the ORIGINAL Schubert Ave Maria, who's to say...?

interlude shortened  by on August 29th, 2007
This website is a fabulous resource for me to find as I have small kids and hate the idea of going to a music store to find sheet music. My copy was different from my pianists' in that the interlude between the first and second verse was shortened on mine - I was the soloist. It worked out ok though. The copy was clear and beautiful. I will use this service again!
