What a beautiful way to dust off the piano and brush the cobwebs aside for someone who has not played seriously for some time! This piece of music brings back memories of my mother conducting the German church choir, and I think this arrangement, although easy to learn, is still achingly beautiful.

This tune had popped into my head as one that would be great to use as part of a church prelude. Once I found your site, I ordered and downloaded the piano score, and played it the next day in my prelude. Thank you so much. I would be interested to know if Ave Verum is availabe for piano in other keys and at greater levels of difficulty. I was impressed with the simplicity, musical integrity, and very clear notation on the page, but again, might have preferred a fuller more difficult version if it exists. Q: Is there a way to view the actual music score before ordering?? That would always be a great help. Thank you.

I was very pleased with this version. It contains all the familiar "voices" of the piece yet isn't too hard to play. Very satisfying! I've been playing for many years, but lately I've been out of practice. It wasn't hard to find my way through this piece the first time.
