Good solid arrangement  by on July 30th, 2011
This piece isn't hard mentally so much as it is physically. The hardest part about this song (Canon) is that there is no real break. Especially for the 1st trumpet part which gets up there a little bit. Overall though, excellently written arrangements with lots of movement, flow, and beautiful melody and counter melody. Gigue is a piece of cake, but like I said, a fantastic peace for any group looking to play a fairly "original" arrangement of canon and gigue.

i agree with the previous reviewer. unless you can play a high c. dont buy this piece. if you can though. its a fantastic arrangement for trumpet. i am using this for a school project and all of the players in my quartet are grade 8 (ameb) and higher. fantastic piece

Pachelbel's Cannon D for four trumpets  by on November 25th, 2007
Its a nice version and suprisingly accurate to the recorded versions hovering about. The only problems lie in the shear contrast in the music, some bars ask you to go up an octave or more, which is alright normally, but these parts go quite high. I would recommend this piece to a quartet of four strong players, but nothing less.
