Rating: 5 Georg Philipp Telemann: Concerto in G major on July 26, 2012 @2:24 am PST
Although an experienced amateur violinist I am trying to teach myself to play the viola which means reading the C clef. The Telemann Concerto is, for me, an interesting challenge, not particularly difficult notation but more interesting than simple tunes written for the instrument

I think the technique most utilized in this concerto is shifting. There is a ton of fourth finger usage but that is only a small helping factor when avoiding shifts. Get ready for a long, but beautiful run, ladies and gentlemen.
