I found this edition of the J.S. Bach French Suites to be clean and uncluttered, leaving ornamentation to the discretion of the performer (a feature I like about music of the Baroque period). I played these suites in the late 1970s from scores that have since been either lost or misplaced. However, the edition that I downloaded from Virtual Sheet Music compares favorably with both the Kalmus and Henle editions that I remember.
