Rating: 5 Classical pieces with "Halloween" feel on September 7, 2009 @4:47 pm PST
This is a neat compilation of songs - some of which I recognized. I was especially enticed by the first piece, which has different components related to the Halloween season -ex. "The Witches and the Pumpkins." I consider myself fairly advanced, and these pieces are challenging enough.

its not even halloween and this music sounds fun to learn: it's edgy and different from usual classical music.

Halloween is my favorite holiday so of course I was looking for music to help me celebrate the occasion! The Halloween Collection contains the key pieces I was searching for and some new favorites, but all create that spooky ambiance beautifully. Not too difficult but not too easy either. As a college student I've spent long periods away from a piano but still picked these up in a reasonable time span.
Rating: 5 Inspiring subject for recital by  * VSM MEMBER * on May 5, 2008 @6:50 am PST
I am a piano teacher for beginners, and this Halloween collection was what convinced me to buy a membership with VSM. After hearing SO many Christmas concerts, I liked the idea of a Halloween recital: all music in a minor key. Spooky!

I downloaded piano solo version, and I'm choosing the Ferrari pieces to play--very ethereal. The violin & piano duets are for the little kids for a simpler part to play in duet with me. I would like to see a simplified/easy two-handed version of the Halloween collection.

Thanks VSM!
