No part for E-flat trumpet?  by (MEMBER) on January 25th, 2009
This is a revised review after first lamenting the absence of a part for e-flat trumpet. Big applause for the owners of this site for responding as they did and posting an update which includes both b-flat AND e-flat trumpet parts for this popular and important work. That shows that they listen and care about their customers. This a good edition, free of so much of the "editorializing" that abounds in so many other editions. Any student of this work should study both the performance practices of the period as well as as the performances of reputable and fine musicians today. This edition gives the player the opportunity to do exactly that. Thanks to the site owners, too, for posting MIDI files with which players may set their own tempos and practice.
