Videos about Meditation from Thais for violin and piano
What's the difference between Sautille and Spiccato, and other bow strokes?
In this video, William shows you the difference between two commonly-confused bow strokes which are actually quite different! He also tackles other common bow strokes used in the violin repertoire. ...
In this first expert video, Prof. William Fitzpatrick of Chapman University explains how to apply the right amount of pressure with the finger on the violin fingerboard. Too much pressure is usually bad, but how do you find the right pressure or force to put on your left hand fingers?
Whilst I had a minor struggle retrieving the download, everything came through promptly.
Don't buy sheet music because of its cover
by anonymouson September 2nd, 2013
I am a classical pianist and my son is a classical violinist. We both have reached Diploma level playing. This version of the Meditation is nicely printed, easy to read, with the page turning places comfortable for the pianist. The violinist knows it from memory, which is essential for this piece, being a very expressive piece of music. It is, of course, a very famous piece and is learned by most students who reach a medium level of technical ability. However, its demand for expressiveness improves with the experience and maturity of the player. It is one of our favourite pieces and one that an audience, even without any knowledge of music, always enjoys. Not sure what the picture on the front cover had to do with it.
I like it very much..!

This is one of my favorite sheet music. Both of piano part and violin part complete with instruction/sign how to play that part. Even the fingers number especially the violin part is fully equipped. I like it very much..!
Easy to read

I'm a piano accompanist in a music school. My colleague gave me a tenth-generation photocopy of an old hand-written European score of this piece. Went on line and found this nicely printed version, which made it much easier to learn. Thank you, Virtual Sheet Music!
Very nice sheet music. Very easy to read and the extra files and features make it a nice learning project. You just can not beat the price for what you get.

I will definitely use Virtual sheet music again, great quality and so easy.
Nice engraving, a few articulation inconsistencies

This is the first time I've used Virtual Sheet Music. I definitely recommend it and will use it again. The engraving is professional and looks great. There are some little articulation inconsistencies and some are missing but thats not really a big deal as most performers change them anyway!.

This composition (Meditation)was becoming more than a challenge for me. Your service was an "eye opener". The piano accompaniment proved to be a real winner. You offered not only the service, but also encouragement. Many thanks!
Score was crisp and easy-to-read, and the accompaniment (in 3 different formats) was excellent. All for a very reasonable price. I love that I found Virtual Sheet Music. I will definitely be returning again and again!!!
A beautiful classic

This piece is approx. Grade 7. It is a beautiful composition, and I am happy with the sheet music layout provided.
Very pleased with the printed output - clear and easy to read. The phrasing and suggested fingering seems very good. The range of backing tracks - especially with midi format included - is excellent for the price and very useful for practice.
This is such a wonderful, emotive composition that is not too difficult to play - however to make it really sing you do need to have a good technique.
Certainly I would highly recommend this service and I am likely to use it again in the near future.

I very much enjoyed using the Virtual Sheet Music progrm. The music was much cheaper than at other stores and it took much less time than if the music had been mailed to me.

A wonderful (necessary?) addition to any violinist's repertoire. Thank you for making it easily available.
I just bought myself a violin. I had not played one since I succumbed to peer pressure in High School and switched to bass/guitar. I was looking for midi files to play along with plus the sheet music so these "fit the bill" perfectly. I have now joined to obtain more.
