This transcription for piano solo reflect perfectly the feeling of the original work of Massenet.
Keys for 2

Lovely piece and the arrangement gives a full texture to the lyrical line. Only problem, the primo part puts the melody line far too high on the piano. Most pianos are not at their sweetest in that range. My duet partner and I have been making adjustments.
Very romantic piece of music
by Zuzanna from Polandon July 1st, 2010
I met this piece at "youtube" first time and I thought that it would be nice to play it myself, so... google and...
It's amazing that I could realize my wish within only few minutes, due to payment on-line and possibility to download the file with the sheets I wanted immediately. Great thing!
An excellent transcription

Mr. Ferrari did a great job in transcribing Massenet's hauntingly beautiful "Meditation" from the opera Thais for piano solo. The music flows fluidly with detailed notations for expressions. The piece offers piano players at intermediate/early advanced levels a good challenge.

I'm very happy with my purchase and would not hesitate to buy again.
On Massenet's Meditation from Virtual
by Fr. Ranhilio Callangan Aquinoon January 6th, 2010
Print-wise, Virtual's production could hardly be better. It is a pleasure to read, and downloading was no problem at all. I really commend Virtual for making sheet music available at a click of the mouse.
The arrangement of Meditation is delightful -- not difficult, really, but still harmonically commendable. It eschews unnecessary difficulties such as non-sychronic movements of both hands, and puts into piano solo in a commendable manner what was originally intended for an ensemble of instruments.
Met my needs exactly!
by Loretta, Illinoison September 24th, 2009
I first heard "Meditation" a few months ago in my doctor's waiting room and was quite moved by the melody. I've since listened to renditions for different instruments (including, of course, voice). My favorites are by violinists Sarah Chang and Nathan Milstein. I have 10-plus years of classical piano training and am partial to the romantic lyricism exemplified in this piece. I wanted a piano transcription to learn for my personal enjoyment, one compatible with my (rather dusty) skills--engaging, not too daunting. This edition provided exactly what I needed--fingering along with dynamics, slurring, articulation, etc. I hope eventually to study the entire opera as well as other Massenet compositions. Very pleased!

We used it for our wedding this weekend: the organist picked it up right away and did a fantastic job, it sounds great on just piano!
