Though I enjoy a great deal of his music, this has always been one of my favorite Beethoven pieces. There is a great deal of emotion within these notes. As a composer, I have great appreciation for the gentleness in this music.
It's a great piece but it doesn't have any fingerings. Fingerings aren't needed that badly, but they wouldn't hurt

I fell in love with this piece when I was only 11. I'm 15 now and have been playing violin for four years. Each day I've practiced, it was so I could play Romance No. 2 and also Beethoven's Violin Concerto in D Major, Opus 61. Finally, my local music store stocked Romance No. 2. Two days later, I played it up to tempo with the recording of St. Martin-in-the-Fields.

I have loved theses two wonderful Romances for Violin by Beethoven since student days. Sadly some pianist in the hazes of memory did not return my piano part after a performance also in the haze of memory. Your convenient and accurate service worked like a charm, and enabled me to render the lost found again at an affordable price. At 72 I am looking forward again to making Beethoven's music anew with a new pianist who I can remember. Thanks for gladdening my heart.

This is just what I was looking for! I got a copy of the second romance with a CD backup from another source, but I didn't have enough time to get it ready before my recital. Downloading this will save me having to pay expensive shipping to overnight a copy, and I will get the piano accompaniament in time for my recital. I love happy endings!
