Rating: 5 A well-balanced Bach arrangement on January 1, 2009 @8:53 am PST
A well-balanced arrangement for two cellos of some classic music by Bach. Much more fun to play than most duets of similar difficulty.

I am studying them with my teacher. Really good trascription and obsiously GREAT music....:-)
Good to put aside to the Dotzauer...:-))))
Rating: 3 Bach transposed on September 17, 2007 @5:14 am PST
The music is accurate, but it is would be better transposed a little higher on the instrument, it is too "grumbly" in the lowest range of the cello. And it would make it a little more interesting to more advanced players.
Rating: 4 Good arrangement, especially for those who know these pieces by on April 23, 2007 @2:28 am PST
The arrangement fits in to the cello range nicely. The absence of any but the most basic articulation makes it possible for them to be tried at several speeds, varying the articulation to match the difficulty. Both parts are equal, although the first one lies a little higher.

We use them as a "reward" for working through less interesting but more cello-technique duos such as those by Sebastian Lee.

Anyone ordering these should take care in printing them out all in one go that the first page be page 3, and NOT page 4 where the music begins, otherwise the score and parts pagination don't work out.
