I needed to perform in a wedding and i had lost the music sheets i used to have to play them wedding songs so founding you guys was a great help to get me through this wedding performance.
thank you very much.
The collection is excellent. I am a pianist who does various gigs, such as weddings and other celebrations. I probably would not choose to play the Albinoni Adagio at a wedding as it is a very somber but gorgeous work. The Mendelssohn Wedding March is also fabulous, though the very unplayed last section is scored for organ, so you have to reduce it for piano-On the Schubert "Ave Maria," most would recognize the very well known first part at a wedding.
The Tartini "Cantabile," is indeed lovely, and if you have a digital piano, it is nicely rendered on the Strings setting, especially for a wedding. I would have also added the Pachelbel Canon in D, Bach's, "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring," Handel's "Queen of Sheba," and the Purcell "Trumpet Voluntary" to this collection, as well as some Handel Water Music.
I found this collection extremely useful for my grandparents' 50th wedding anniversary. I will be playing this collection in a couple months, along with some other famous pieces. I'll be adding Pachelbel's advanced "Canon in D" for piano solo (http://www.virtualsheetmusic.com/downloads/Pachelbel/CanonPiano.html), Handel's "Queen of Sheba" (http://www.virtualsheetmusic.com/downloads/Haendel/ArrivalPf.html), and Schubert's "Ave Maria" for vioce and piano in Bb major(http://www.virtualsheetmusic.com/score/AveMariaVoiceBb.html)
These pieces are of medium difficulty, and may be played in a different order than the one suggested by the pdf.
With this collection, your success is guaranteed.
