Yes these are lovely arrangements, true to originals, and exceptionally well-laid out on the page. However we now need a volume 2, and 3, of violin & cello....there is so much in Baroque repertoire that sounds fantastic for vln/cello (and could be easily rearranged for other duos). We're hungry for more!
great collection that is otherwise difficult to find

It's a good collection that is enough for me to play at any wedding. I find that I don't need much else if I bring this along.
Air from Bach

We played the Air from Bach at my brothers wedding two days ago. Everybody became very emotional. I used the original version of the violin part though, because the measuring of the arranged version was slightly different. The cello part is quite good.
In conclusion, the Collection is the perfect choice for those who want to play some "classical" Wedding songs in an instrumentation which is hard to get as original from Bach, Schubert or Händel.
wedding album duet

The music is a little difficult for my violinist. It is full of hard double-stops. and the cello part is simplified too much in comparison to the violin part.

I was urgently in need for duo-pieces like that to play in a wedding, and these arrangements were my salvation.
Maybe sometimes a little uncomfortably written (my violinist was complaining about many high double chords), but otherwise nice stuff, for that price anyway.
Well Arranged Duet Music

Finding these pieces in one group has been a great find. It has saved me from having to do a lot of arranging on my own.
