Joseph Mendoes - Cello Expert

Joseph Mendoes first discovered his love for the cello while participating in his local public school's music program, and he hasn't stopped since. Over the years, Joseph has studied at some of the most prestigious music schools, such as the Colburn School in Los Angeles, California, and USC's Thornton School of Music, where he received a scholarship and the USC Chamber Music award in 2004. He has studied under the expertise of such teachers as Doris Savery, Richard Naill, and Ronald Leonard; and has received guidance from such giants in the cello and chamber music worlds as Heinrich Schiff, Orlando Cole, and the Emerson and Ysaye String Quartets. Today, Joseph is a member of the Riverside Philharmonic, and teaches where it all began - at the Colburn School.


Evva Mizerska - Cello Expert

Named "rising star" by The Strad magazine, Evva Mizerska is an award-winning cellist, recitalist and chamber musician. Born in Poland, Evva graduated from the Frédéric Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw and later from Trinity College of Music in London, where she studied with Richard Markson. Sought-after performer, Evva regularly appears as a soloist or recitalist; she has also featured in live broadcasts for the BBC3 and the Polish Radio. Evva has won numerous awards, including the first prize at the Seventh International Leoš Janáček Competition in Brno, the Vivian Joseph Cello Prize and the Leonard Smith Duo Prize in London. She currently lives in London and her recording label is Toccata Classics.

Florence's flute journeys have taken her from New York City, where she studied at Music and Art High School, to teaching at University of Evansville in Indiana, to sunny Orange County California, where she is currently an active performer. Florence has graced the stages of Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center; and at age 19, performed the virtuoso Ibert Flute Concerto to great acclaim with the 92nd Street Y Orchestra in New York City. Erin Spencer - Flute Expert

Flutist Erin Spencer is an educator, performer, and arranger based in Colorado Springs. She owns and operates Spencer Music Studio and coaches young musicians at Mitchell High School and Parker Performing Arts. Erin also performs with the Pikes Peak Flute Choir and arranges music for her students and flute choirs across the country. Erin earned her Master of Music Degree in Flute Performance and her Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Education from the University of Missouri. Erin has also performed with the Missouri Symphony, the 9th Street Philharmonic Orchestra, and as principal of the Columbia Civic Orchestra. Erin displays her versatility and breadth of skill by performing in musicals and recording videos for her YouTube channel. Jaimie Lee Mendoes - Flute Expert

A native of Seoul, Korea, Jaimie Lee Mendoes started her musical studies on the piano at a very young age with the help of her mother, who was a pianist and composer. Later, at 8, she ventured out to the flute. After a few years of study, she was admitted to the prestigious Yewon School of the Arts and moved onto Seoul Arts High School. At the age of 13, she had her debut performance with the Russian Philharmonic Orchestra playing Devienne's Flute Concerto No. 8 during the philharmonic's tour in Korea. When she was 20 she came to the United States, where she studied the flute with Maria Tamburrino, Jill Felber, and Jim Walker. Jaimie hopes that her videos for Virtual Sheet Music will inspire many by giving them the tools and motivation that they need to improve.

Miroslav Mirosavljev, also known as Mickylee, is a guitar player, composer and guitar teacher based in Vienna, Austria. He graduated from the renowned University for Music and Dramatic Arts Graz, where he got his degree in Jazz Guitar and Jazz Theory and Composition. He has taught guitar for many years, and currently he teaches at the JAM MUSIC LAB Private University Vienna, where he also holds the chair of Dean of Studies. Besides teaching, Mickylee performs regularly with different groups all across Austria and Europe. Recently, he toured and recorded an album with world-class jazz guitar players John Stowell and Ulf Bandgren. The album is currently in its pre-production phase.

Dr. Rebecca Sherburn is the Director of Vocal Studies and an Associate Professor of Voice at Chapman University in Southern California. Sherburn's international performances include the role of Carlotta Giudicelli in Phantom of the Opera with the Neue Flora Theater Hamburg as well operatic repertoire with German State Theaters in Oberhausen, Gütersloh, Osnabrück and Aachen. National engagements include appearances with the Los Angeles Philharmonic New Music Group, New York New Music Ensemble, newEar of Kansas City, Los Angeles Master Chorale, South Florida Master Chorale, William Hall Chorale and many others. She has two CD releases with Albany Records, Paul Creston Songs 2014, and Love, the Fair Day, a compilation of chamber music by composers of the Second New England School, 2017. Her scholarly work is published by the National Association of Teachers of Singing, the American Choral Directors Association, and the College Music Society. A native Californian, she received her Master of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees from the University of Southern California.

Adrian is a professional conductor and violinist from Regina, Canada. In 2001, he started his studies at the National Conservatory of Music of Mexico, where he studied violin, voice, conducting, and theory. In 2005, Adrian moved to Canada to continue his studies in violin and conducting at the University of Regina and completed a Master's of music in instrumental conducting in 2018. In September 2013, Adrian was appointed Music Director of the Regina Community Orchestra and is currently the president of the Saskatchewan Orchestral Association. Since 2015, Adrian has been the assistant conductor for the University Orchestra at the University of Regina. He co-founded Concertino Regina, a chamber music group that promotes upcoming talented musicians in the city. Adrian is an active member of the music community in Saskatchewan as an educator, performer, and conductor.

After 28 years in the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, Roy Sonne took early retirement in order to devote himself to an ever-increasing number of musical projects and interests. He created the "School Of Violin Artistry" which offers Instructional videos for violin students. The focus is "Finding the Pathway between technique and musical expression." He maintains a large private teaching studio in his home in Mt. Lebanon, PA. He does clinics and workshops for High School string players and also for community orchestras in the Pittsburgh area. He also gives recitals, chamber music, concertos, and conducting appearances in the Pittsburgh area. He founded "Orchestra on the Hill," an after school music program based on the spectacularly successful El Sistema program from Venezuela. He periodically visits Bolivia to where he organizes workshops and musical events to develop a high level of string playing in that country.
